On 31 December 2011 the amount under management by pension funds amounted to 13 million euros, reflecting a decrease of 32.8% over 2010.

The evolution of the total amount of pension funds under management was influenced by the partial transfer of the ownership of the assets to the State, whose responsibility for pension payments in 31 December 2011 was provided in the substitute scheme of the collective labor force regulation in the banking sector.
